8/11/ Great news - we decided to move forward with our service with LBR especially because of the good service and research like that.  Your team does an excellent job of not just giving out signals but explaining the trades which gives us confidence in the trades! :-)

Thanks again!
Melissa

Been trading for about 10 years and found myself in  a bit of a rut, realizing the set ups but not giving them time to set up.  Instead of capturing the larger gains I was capturing perhaps 20% of the trade. Good money but certainly not realizing my potential. Been doing the free trial stuff looking for  just the right mentality and philosophy.  Bingo, found it with you folks right out of the gate.  Just cleared my long GLD options trade for a 37% gain.  Oh, the money is fine but realizing the potential of the trade and letting it set up is perfection and the next level of trading I seek.  I am just as excited to reach that next level of trading as I am the free trail game is finally over!!!!!! Please pass along my thanks to Linda and her crew.

Thank you Linda and the LBRgroup.  Your fundamentals on technical analysis has greatly helped me avoid losses in these highly vixed periods.  :-)

Hey LBR group,

I wanted to thank you very much for your great efforts in calling
trades and more importantly doing a great job of educating us on
various setups and ideas to look at during the day. Chris, your
dedication and focus on us and everyone in the room is outstanding. I
have been in the markets since the late 1980's and really think this
is the best group that I have seen. I want to thank the entire LBR
team for its professionalism and great commitment to its members!

You guys are workhorses in there doing battle by my side day in and
day out..I really feel like the LBR group is a team is in my corner
and that is priceless. Keep up the great work and hope you have a
prosperous 2008.

Sincerely,
Mindful

I have taken many trials , but I have chosen this site. I love this site. I have learned a lot and this is translating into some good profitable trading. I am learning not only about entries, but trade mangement as well. I am still learning, but the LBR moderators (Chris, Linda, Alavi, Steve, Skydiva) and other members are really helping me. I am not only following the alerts, but at night I am reading old transcripts on the site. LBR is teaching me that getting stopped is part of the game and this is necessary for keeping your losses small so that your overall profits are large. Thank you for providing me with a great education and turning me into a profitable trader. 2/20/2008

Hi Chris my name is RJ, from Australia. Joined the  room one month ago but have been using the website for ages. Thank you so much for sharing  your  inspirational story on the opening play.  You guys truly are changing the world  and making a difference to people everywhere. That video rocked my world and shook me back into  action with some projects i am working on. Whenever i am helping a new trader or mentoring a  young person the world just takes on such a new meaning. If i am going through  a bad period (drawdown) i always try harder to help one of my trading  buddies. Whatever we give out certainly comes back. I am fascinated by this  subject and will be spending alot more time next year delving further into it. I could type on forever but thank you and all the  best for the New Year. Regards, RJ,

As a new subscriber to LBR group for the futures live area, I was very surprised to receive my copy of Stock Traders Almanac. That was a much appreciated gift, and a gesture that only furthers my impression that LBR group is one of the best services out there. The level of competence and commitment to improving trader performance is obvious to anyone who has subscribed to other services. I am primarily a mechanical trader, but I also like to see what other eyes are seeing throughout the day. I have found your commentary and training outstanding. I spend thousands a month on data, charts, software, etc., and you are the only vendor to have sent me a thank you. Very class move... Ken T.,

I am a very new member to the LBR Group Website (one week). Over the past eighteen months I have received inconsistent results with my options trading.  This led me to seeking a new vehicle for trading and some advanced education.  I recently realized that the key ingredient missing from my being able to trade consistently profitable was experience.  My trading partner and I began to seek resources for advanced education and mentoring. Fortunately at a recent workshop a fellow employee recommended I visit your website.  Having read “The New Market Wizards” I recognized your name and I immediately visited your site.  When I read your philosophy for trading I was sold!  I immediately contacted my trading partner (fellow student) and told him to review the site which we both joined immediately (three day trial).  We spent hours exploring (the areas we had access to) as well as following the live chat.  We both have since joined the LBR Futures Live and are elated with all of the beneficial information available to us.  We were looking for that missing ingredient, experience, and have obviously come to the right place.  We are amazed at how the information your site has provided us thus far has altered our trading perspective and advanced our learning curve so rapidly.  I am sure we have only explored “the tip of the iceberg” thus far with your website.  My partner and I will be attending your Annual Trading Seminar in Chicago and are looking very forward to meeting you and your staff at the event.  This email was originally going to enquire as to the benefits of participating in the Chicago event however I have discovered the obvious answer on my own.  In closing I would like to thank you and your staff for providing and assisting us with the experience and mentoring that had been missing from our system. -- Steve F.

Just a quick note to thank you and your team for my best trading week ever.  Could not have done it without you. -- DD 6/9/

Linda, your Futures Live room is outstanding.  Having a plan for each trading day and then having you and your staff adding comments and real time trades reinforces what I learned in Orlando.  The addition of live video this week has added significantly to what was already outstanding service.  The class you presented today at lunch on how you traded this morning was invaluable. It is 06

Do you know... Ray I have made (yes, I was counting :)) 723 pips since I joined this room? In less than a month! -- missa 4/20/

Hi Linda- The morning video updates are AAA+.  Thanks for a great site addition for us
members.  George 4/17/

Chris, thank you very much for the sample opening video.  The weekly USDJPY chart is for currency position trading, aiming at a big profit.  I will join the Futures Trading Room.  I am practicing the LBR trading approach in my Japanese equity trading and am successful.  I am looking forward to seeing you in the trading room.  YM, 4/14/

Hi Chris, the way you handle the chatroom trades are very impressive to say the least! When you couple your thoughts and direction with Linda and Allie's work it makes for a winning combination, for those of us that are developing ourselves into trader's. Thanks again for your thoughts and all your assistance.  Sincerely,  Rick Terrell, 10/13/

Hi Chris,  It is easier to say thanks to you and Linda after I have had the best trading day ever after just 1 month in the room. Actually it would probably be better to thank you for your help when I do not make money. At those times you wisely keep me from trying to see things in the markets that just do not exist. On the days when markets are choppy and profits are hard to come by, if I try to make up for the lack of trading suggestions, I usually find that I lose money. I now have quickly learned to be patient, that watching a screen, even if it takes all day and doing nothing, is the greatest skill that I can master. You have always counseled trading when the setups have the best odds. Glad that I waited for a day like today and was ready to pounce when you said pounce. Scalper55 -- 9/21/

Hey Chris, As a new trader in the futures market, Chris and Linda both voluntarily offered to help mentor me.  During the time, my trading account was in a bear market (if you know what I mean).  Linda focused me on the repeating chart pattern setups (flags, grails, divergences), and Chris focused his time to reinforce my patience, not to let emotions rule my trading decisions, wait for the setup, ask questions, etc. Both Chris and Linda are very gracious to answer email questions to further strengthen the bond and the learning cycle.  Chris is a great motivator when I was down, and quickly got me going.  I now look forward to coming in every morning to have a successful trading day.  My account has started to develop a slow trending bull market, thanks to Chris and Linda. I will be attending my first annual seminar this year.  I am excited to be around winners, and people who are successful doing what I want to be doing.  Common sense dictates, if you want to be a successful trader, go learn from those who have already done it.  Don’t ask for “unqualified” advise from someone who is not successful in this business, it will only slow you down and discourage you.  Linda and Chris, thank you for walking along side me as I travel this road.  I am forever grateful, and hope to pass this same gift of time and energy to others in the future who will embark on the same journey that I am on. - David Cordray (d4cordray) 5/23/

Chris, You already know much of this, but here's the slightly long version of how your suggestions, and following Linda and the chat room closely, has helped me -- I've really made some great progress from where I was just a few weeks ago -- I'm now doing consistently well, which, is a big change!  I've gone from not knowing whether I would continue in trading, to getting the room full time, and I am even going to the annual workshop!  I'm really looking forward to it, and am completely serious about making something of this. On many trading days, making the equivalent of 5 or 6 S&P points has not been uncommon, depending on market conditions.  Before, I would feel fortunate not to lose very much during the week as I tried for 3 or 4 points for the week. I have to say, it really helped to hear your advice to raise the bar on performance and get out of the mental funk and into some positive expectation. Sometimes we know these things, but it helps to hear them at the right time from someone who's been there and now has the accomplishment to back it up.  I have to say, I feel like I can't afford NOT to be a room member. I am trading small, believe me, but I can still pay for the room for the month with one or two days trading.  When I compare the benefits to my bottom line now, to not having the room and losing money over time, it is definitely being penny-wise and pound foolish to not get the benefits of being a member.  To anyone considering becoming a room member or considering the annual workshop, I would say this:  My experience has been that Linda, Chris, and LBRGroup are the real deal.  They are accessible, they care, and are there to help you take this to the next level.  You couldn't do better than to align yourself with a group of traders of this level, and who are great people as well. Steve Denver, CO -- 5/15/

What a refreshing change from other educational services! Technical plays that actually work  -  updated and verified continuously. Expert real-time market targets, with  surprising accuracy. Relevant charts posted to organize your trading  orientation. And amazing responsiveness of the LBRGroup members - help with  charts, questions, probabilities, even trading platforms.  It is unlike any other service available - I've  tried the others, and have the scars to prove it! Sam Bagley

Hey Chris, I just wanted to congratulate you on those calls on Friday afternoon.  Very
nice work.  I particularly liked the call after the first tick low.  You were trying to get us in 2 points up but somehow you realised it was not going to come back that far so you called it short.  You were right on the money. Very best regards, Bryan Wendon

Dear Chris, On February 14th, 2005, I attended your presentation at the Traders Expo in NY. Wow !! I wish, you had it for whole day, instead only for few hrs. What a diference in presentation between yours and others. Generally I fall a sleep in those boring type, stereo type traditional lecturers /seminars. I was up every second in your class and enjoyed every second of it. Your way of teaching with sense of humor is un matchable.  Not only we learn about the business, but we realized to be a  good and kind person like you. Your knowledge in the business is excellent and  it is no nonsense type and simple approach to the subject. In my life, I have attended many of seminars and workshops, but never had  a good time like this. You made us laugh and learn the difficult methods with  no pain. That is excellent. I really enjoyed it. Peter D. 3/6/

Chris is living his dream, and teaches with  such clarity that we believe we can do the same.  His presentation was clear,  concise and thorough.  He answered every question during the  presentation, and stayed late to ensure everyone who wanted to speak with  him, had the opportunity.  He is a gracious and gifted teacher of the  markets…a Market Wizard in the making. David C.

Hi  Chris/Linda, First up, I am a relatively new member to  the room and I would like to thank you all for your commitment, dedication and  willingness to share your experience.  Since becoming a member all my  prior trading knowledge seems to have organized itself in a way that is  starting to make sense.  While I still have a long way to go, I feel  LBRGroup is fast-tracking my journey. Thanks, Jerome F. (Jezza)

Hi Chris, love the service and love the calls you and Linda make.   Above all am learning a tremendous amount each day, and that makes me real  happy!  What's the old saying - give a man a fish and he'll eat for a  day, but teach him how to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime!  Well you  guys certainly practice that.  Vijay (Doji) 2/25/05

Hi Chris, I had the pleasure of meeting you last week at the NYC  Traders Expo and I was quite impressed by your presentation. Not only were  you funny and clever but also extremely knowledgeable and we all agreed you  had an excellent presentation.  I am very interested in attending your  Night Owl session on Sunday evening and would like to discuss that with you  further. As you suggested I am contacting you by e-mail and promise not to  share your number with Paris Hilton. I would be happy to contact you at any  time at your convenience.  I look forward to hearing from you and thanks  again for a very fun and educational  presentation. Sincerely, A. Suarez 2/24/05

Hi Linda, Just wanted to let you know that your class on the "slow-line" was really
fantastic.  It was jammed packed with insights.  It has taken me quite a long time to digest it and I am sure I will get more from it next time I read it as well. It was a real master class.  Thank you. Bryan W. 02/09/05

Hello Chris, just a quickie note to say THANKS!!!!...I really love  reading your NightOwl
and only wish I could be with you guys in real  time...(the 'management' draws a line to me discussing at charts at  3am)...keep up the great work...its very very very much appreciated...really  really really....ha. cheers alan 11/22/04

THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS !!!! Hi Chris,  Thank you for putting the charting night owls in the education section. It is a great help to those of us in Europe who are not very good at getting up in the middle of the night.  I'm finding the sessions very useful. Thank you also for all the hard work you put in and especially for your enthusiasm and "positiveness" which is c

Dear Ms. Raschke: Thank you for making your trading style available in "Street Smarts", which I recently purchased.  Although I'm nearly done reading it, I have already implemented several set-ups that you've generously shared with us, your reading public. As a fulltime futures trader, your no-nonsense approach and easy set-ups have already "paid off" for me, e.g., your "80-20" and the "turtles".  The key here is better entries. I've recommended your book twice in my fulltime trading room on-line.  Just thought I'd take time to let you know how impressed I am with your book.  I was reluctant to pay $140.00 for it-- yet now that I'm reading it, I'd pay 10 times that much for it.
Best regards, Dr. Jody G., Austin TX 08/250/04

norton [12:08:54]> leaving for the weekend soon but wanted to thank you  all for the turnaround in my trading.  have only been in the room 3 months,  but am trading so much smarter, fewer trades but with greater success,  far more knowledge.  Huge
THANK YOU to all the LBR group pros. 08/27/04

With the beginning of my studies of economics at JWG University in Frankfurt - Germany, I got more and more interessted in the markets. I finally started papertrading an eForex - account one year ago and since that time, I trade, research and educate myself every free minute I have. No one writes about what is really going on at the markets. Everybody knows the momentum as an indicator but it took a long time to find out, that it is more than just math. First thing I do, when I come home from University, I visit your homepage and study your educational charts till I have to keep my eyes open by hand. That really boosted my learning progress just because of the short comments, that make me thinking it all over again.  For that service, you provide visitors for free, I´m very thankful. I can´t stress that enough, also because I have the feeling, you really want to teach and not only beat money out of your knowledge.  I hope, one of you guys will teach in Germany one day. Johannes Frank 07/29/04

Hi Chris - just wanted to drop you a note to say i sincerely appreciate Linda's and your work on the forum - i have now marked my first anniversary with LBR! - i started trading about a year ago pretty much from level zero - what your forum has been for me is really like a tool for understanding markets and trading from a truly professional, "inside" perspective (rather than my own "trial and error" etc.)- and the fact that it's done day-to-day in a live market environment makes it a truly unique tool which no classroom or textbook could substitute - it's basically like learning how to play water polo by training with a team and a coach rather than by jumping into water on your own without knowing how to swim and without knowing the rules of the game! - i have now developed my own trading framework which is based not on Linda's approach but more on my own personal style and principles - but without LBR, my progress certainly would not have been this fast - i therefore would like to thank both of you again for your time and your outgoing effort to share your expertise - i look forward to all the exciting trading to come with you guys and i wish you all the best in your lives and your trading! regards. YK

I have been following your Stock Beat services for almost 2 months now. I appreciate it a lot and find that LBR provides very good trading alerts and educational services overall.  07/16/04 Stephane_L

Chris: what i've learned has saved me thosands in terms of poor trades from my own thought and indicators...... costa7,  THANK YOU all!!!

Chris, I have been a member in the futures room for going on two months and done extremely well with you guys but most importantly learned a ton. I ordered Lindas book last week and was wondering if there is anything else you would suggest.  anyways thanks so much. Hope to meet you in person someday (I am OdyCap in the room). Sincerely, Alan Schill, President, Odyssey Capital Corp.

LBR's annual seminar in Chicago (May 2004) was terrific! I've been taking trading seminars for 10 years; most of them from 1994-98.  I've taken a quite a few weekend and 3-day trading seminars  in both the stock & futures arena since I started trading the market intraday in 1994.  The LBRGroup annual seminar is exceptional! The material in this LBR seminar (Chicago 04') was very rich even comparing it to Orlando 02' (the first LBR annual seminar I took).  Linda was a force!!  And once again, I'll be studying the material in the workbook for the next year, and continuing to put it to work in my trading.  I trade a number of futures contracts, as well as both small cap and large cap stocks, and the material in your seminar applies to all of it. I know it *works*, too -- since I've been following and using Linda's work for 6 years. Great course! I'll be back next year.  Sincerely, Steve Bell San Francisco, CA

Dear Linda, I just wanted to take a few moments and let you know how much I enjoyed your seminar in Chicago!  You painted such a realistic and complete picture of what this business is all about, andI left there with a new resolve to FULLY COMMIT to becoming a successful professional trader.  There were a few "unseen"  obstacles holding me back, like a few pebbles holding back a boulder ready to roll, and I was able to place my finger right on 'em, stick 'em in the eye, and begin the process of taking control.  I have always felt there was MUCH more to this business than simply recognizing patterns (which even monkeys can be trained to do!).  I now truly believe that the future will be what I create it to be.  I am so thankful for you and your entire awesome staff, and I look forward to the months ahead with LBRGroup. Sincerely, Jeff Holzaepfel 05/11/04

Thanks to you and LBR I had 12 winners in a row.  I took 2 losses on the rally and blame myself (I went back and seen where I violated my rules so it reinforces them).  I said to myself this morning "Who is buying this market?" and it dawned on me nobody but the people who are short.  I was wondering when the s__t would hit the fan and it did.  The LBR stock beat is well worth the price of admission.  Everyone of you are amazing and I am thrilled to see all of your trades.  I don't take all of them but am kicking myself more often than not for watching them. Rich T. 05/12/04

Chris, Hawk...lbrgroup... I just wanted to say thanks...my trading has turned around in the three weeks I've been on the live futures chat.  I had my best day ever today....learned how to press the gas (vary size for money management purposes)..I am also not overtrading the way I used to. My biggest losses were on days of low volume and volatility.   I am frankly surprised at how much more consistent my trading has become.  The combination of the information on the site (the guest lectures, "lessons", transcripts, etc.) and of course the live play by play intraday has helped me immensely.  I still have alot to read, and a long way to go...but I am determined ..and as I read on your site..."wanting to win is everything"!  I WILL persevere...  Thanks again!! Kathy Wommack

I've been on your futures live less than a week, and wanted to tell you my trading has already improved immensely.  I appreciate the efforts you make to educate members.  I've printed almost all of the material on the site..  take care all! Kathy Wommack

Wow!  Cannot express how glad I am you gave me the opportunity for the 3 day trial on the live futures chat.  I had no idea how much I was missing.  Great market call today...very professional group.  I highly recommend your service and plan to join. I've been trading the eminis since Sept.  ...trading time total about 3 yrs.  Excellent interaction....bravo!!  kmack

Hi Hawkeye, I want to express you, Linda and Chris my greatly appreciation for the day to day help and teaching you are providing us. As a result of being with you I am today a much better educated trader. Thank you, ABZC Armando Balbin 04/07/04

Hi Chris, I am immensely enjoying(profiting) my 3 day trail and will definitely be joining.  You guys are awesome! hanks, Jane-Marie 03/24/03

I am enjoying my subscription to LBR and learning a ton.  I am just starting out in trading, so I am mainly studying hard and following the great instruction presented in the chat rooms. Bill Nayavich aka Jester 03/24/04

Hi Chris, I am a new subscriber to LBR and have been trading the e-mini S&P with excellent results thanks to you guys. Bruce Borst 03/18/04

Hi, Just a quick thank you for the holiday gifts.  I love to read  books "about trading" that are not written "about trading" . I find these type of books to be the most useful.  Thanks for a great six months and for the inspiration to keep challenging myself to not only set bigger goals but put in place a plan to achieve them as well. happy healthy new year, Phil Telpner 01/04/04

Linda: Thank you for the Christmas presents, just received them today.  Also want to thank you and all your staff for the help and encouragement this year.  I was very leary of joining any service but yours has exceeded my expectations ten fold.  Without my mkt education from LBR I would not have a chance for success.

Happy New Year and best of luck next year,
Roger (rfla) 12/31/03

Dear Linda,
I was one of your students at the recent Expo in Las Vegas.  I believe it was the best day I ever spent on my trading education.  Now that you have signed my copy of your book, I will value it even more than I did before.
Mike B. 12/21/03

Dear Chris, Linda, Haweye, Phantom,
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!!! It has taken my trading to the next level. Not only do you call the trades which are RIGHT ON but you help me understand how to use the indicators and define the trades. It apparent that you all care about the success of your fellow traders by all the extras you give. I have learned more and made more money in the past few days than I have in the past few months!
God bless you all!!
Sincerely,
Valita Ross 12/16/03

Hi Chris -- i have been with the LBR futures forum for a few weeks now -- i have slowly been working through class transcripts -- i am in Spain at the moment, it's Saturday morning here and i have just worked through your "Retracement, Extension, and Common Levels" from March 2003 -- i have to thank you profusely for doing such a thorough and excellent job on explaining the subject -- i also found your class on Divergences as well as your article absolutely invaluable -- finally, your motivational classes are invaluable -- i started trading only a few months ago -- when i first joined LBR my immediate goal was to get up to speed on technical stuff -- after a few weeks i had realized that, as you rightly say, it's the mental side that is most important, the technical side will come along in time -- it's like Linda mentioned in August about Arnold Schwarznegger's classes where most people want him to immediately show this or that exercise with weights but he says "hang on, i will spend the first two hours on how you should mentally prepare for your training" -- so i would like to thank you sincerely for all the work that you have done on the LBR website and in the forum -- i am sure it has helped many people become better traders and better people, it is helping me tremendously -- you have to consider writing a book on this if you have not started yet -- thanks again, and all the best. regards,
YK, Spain   09/06/03

I've attended Linda's workshops for years, applied her approaches/patterns to equity swingtrading (daily units, not day-trading) -- and have a few tens of thousands of dollars in profits to show for it. I'm interested in finding equity trades through your website services -- maybe even intraday, now that I've got more time to devote to trading. Thank you for all your help over the years, Jack L. 9/01/03

Dear Chris,
As you know, I have been working with you since the end of May of this year. Previously I attended Linda's Ft. Lauderdale seminar in October of 2001. I started trading along with LBR for a brief period. I knew I had a lot to learn---there being a huge difference coming from being a pretty decent long term investor to day trading.

Unfortunately, personal challenges even more serious than investing, conspired to turn my attention from trading. (In December 2001 my wife died after a long bout with multiple sclerosis. Then early the following year I was diagnosed with cancer. After surgery last October and completely defeating the cancer, I lost my job a couple of months ago. I figured if one is going to be successful at something, one might as well
overcome some serious challenges! lol That is where you and LBR have played such an important part so far in my trading as well as my personal life.

I know Linda overcame challenges in her personal life with Epstein-Barr Syndrome and you overcame the challenge of leaving the construction business for the hyper world of trading. After speaking with you, I could not help but be inspired by your enthusiasm,
your confidence, and your desire to educate. I deeply appreciate your dedication to your career and your desire to help other traders. You were able to quickly figure out the weaknesses in my trading methodology. You provided clear direction and solutions to the immense challenge of turning me from novice, hobbyist-investor, to full-time trading
professional.

I thank you for your extremely helpful and profitable instructions on how to dig through the immense and sometimes conflicting amount of data and concentrate on the things that put the odds in a trader's favor. You excel at what is probably the most difficult of things a trader can do: You can change your trading bias as the market changes. You do not succumb to the ego's need to stick to an immovable prognosis and wind up fighting the market. Your work with multiple time frames has been most helpful too. The best, however, is your willingness to give up some of your valuable time to work with a new trader---to be accessible. Any one can publish a newsletter, or make trade recommendations. You have helped me, with your positive energy, to not only start to turn the corner on trading success, but to also realize that all challenges in life are just means by which we grow.

I have not yet replaced my previous salary by my trading profits, but I might be halfway there. Not bad for 3 months. Please feel free to pass along this endorsement to anyone who needs reassurance.  My goal is to achieve enough success in trading within two years to, like you, pass along useful advice and help to others willing to listen and work to achieve their own success. Best wishes, health, and success Chris, to you, your loved ones, friends and even the dogs.

Alex L. Wasilewski (futureman9)  08/29/03

Hi Chris,  I had a real good day in the sp. Chris thanks so much for your willingness to share you skills with me. I have no clue as to how you can read the market the way you do but I am going to stick like glue to you until I do. I will be the next Chris Terry "poster child "and you will be real proud of me! Thanks again for the phone call last week and the daily help in the chat room.
Dave Isbell  08/28/03

Hello Linda:   I'm just dropping you a note as a follow-up to an email I sent a while back. At that time I expressed some frustration at being modestly profitable but unable to achieve a simple goal of 1 point per day trading the e-mini S&P futures. Recently I have taken your advice and I'm trading 1 or 2 of the best setups per day and managing those position well. I'm happy to report I'm profitable and the additional good news is that the daily variability of my account has shrunk considerably which should allow me to trade a larger position for any given amount of capital in the future. Things are progressing nicely and I'll keep you posted. Thanks for all that you do throughout the day for all of us, and just thought I'd let you know your work is greatly appreciated.
Regards,  Stephen (sclerk)  08/15/03

Linda, As a new member to your website, I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your site and how helpful it is. After 20+ years as retail broker with Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney, I recently started trading full time.  Your site has offered the most help and I look forward to reading your work.  Fred Webb  08/12/03

I attended your seminar in Chicago and it was awesome.  Every time I get the opportunity to hear you speak it motivates me to keep pushing my trading to
new highs.  I left the seminar with a new appreciation for what it will take to bring my trading to the level that that I know it can be.  After ten years of trading I am just beginning to scratch the surface of this amazing business. Thanks for your help, motivation, and honesty. Phil T.   07/17/03

Hi Chris,  Happy to report that June was a good month for me. What a trip. I think I might be able to do this. My goal is trading to make a living wage. This month I did it! only 5 bad days. I'm very fortunate to have found the LBR group, Thanks.

Linda/Chris/et al:
I just wanted to drop you a note to say thanks for putting together a great seminar.  It was well worth the trip to Florida and the weekend time investment.  Have a good week.  Nigel  06/09/03

Chris,  Thanks for your assistance at the beginning of this month.  I am having my best month ever and would like to thank you for both the words of wisdom and encouragement.  I found the analogy with how I manage my contracting business very relevant as well as focusing on what I am pulling out of the market as opposed to what I am missing.  Thanks again,  Ray Douglas  05/30/03

Linda, Of all the hundreds of daily briefing sites and columnists I have read over the years, yours is the only one I found that I need to read.  You nail day outlook 80-90% of the time and your insights are great.  New site looks great.  Thanks
Pete 05/20/03

Chris, I wanted to write you and thank you for all the help you have given me with my trading. I was down in my account for several months in a 5 figure range and I was unable to make any type of headway. After talking toyou and reading all the things you had to say about the mental side of trading, something finally clicked these past couple weeks and I am flat in my account in about 5 days. The room has given me the structure technically in my trading, but more importantly, your classes concerning the psychology
of a winning trader has transformed me into a new trader. I now have the discipline of a grinder and not a gambler. The things I have learned from the room have put me on the road to being a very successful trader. I can't thank you enough for all your work, help, and encouragement.
Mchan  04/27/03

Hi Linda:  I want to thank you for answering my question. I was not at the screen when it was being answered and hence could not convey my thanks online.  I find your research incredibly accurate. I missed the short trade in gold yesterday when it broke the nr7 bar to the downside because of ISP problems. That would have been an awesome trade. This morning I saw that T-bonds had formed an nr7 week and when they rallied to 11420 I put in a short.  Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge with your subscribers.
Suresh  03/13/03

dcoll [15:37]> I was just telling Chris how great this room has
been lately. It's so nice to see everyone contributing and helping
out others as well as having lots of humor thrown in so we don't
get to serious. I could not be more pleased with what this service
and the LBR team offers!

Good afternoon Chris:  I am attaching an actual video of a test shot of a
new "hypervelocity Line of Sight Anti Tank missile" developed by the US Navy.
This new missile travels at 5000 feet/sec and is a kenetic kill warhead which
penetrates all known protection armor and is 5 times more lethal than today's
hottest tank rounds.  I got it from a buddy of mine in the Navy.  Turn up the
sound and watch this baby burn in!

Now, you may wonder why I am sending this to you..well, I have not had a
losing day since I joined your group.  I have made money everyday.  This
video is representative of the new and improved plays that I am making.
RIGHT ON TARGET, BABY !!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for your help...

Good Morning Linda,
Hope you are doing well. It was a pleasure to meet with you at the forum in Paris. Your conferences were excellent, a great moment. Not only are you a talented trader, you also are a brilliant speaker. I was very impressed by your kindness too. As I told you, my job is to trade the CAC 40 futures as a full time trader and this type of translation was my first experience. I look forward to talking to you very soon. Kind regards,
Patrick Stokowski  03/25/03

Dear Linda and Chris:

I have been investing in the financial markets since 1982 albeit
unsuccessfully. I have purchased several books, tapes and software and all of
them belong to the trash. I have subscribed to several newsletters and found
few decent ones but they were all of the black box variety … take it or leave
it and don't ever ask the why of the trade. A black box type of advisory
services does not let the trader grow because no education is imparted in
this environment. After wasting a lot of money, I was on a mission since July
2002 to find the best stock and futures advisory service in the world. I
subscribed to a few that looked promising in the beginning but ultimately did
not meet my standards as my bottom line was not growing.

On February 22, 2003 I found the investment advisory service I always dreamt
of in the form of LBR group. You guys have completely turned my investing
fortunes around. I have made over $10,000 in the first month as a member of
your group. I have never made this much money in a month in my investments eve
r.  The key to my success has been the advice that I have received from Chris
Terry on the mental aspect of the game of investing. Plus Linda's daily
education in the chatroom is so accurate that losing in the long-term is out
of the question. I learn something new everyday in the chatroom and my
investing knowledge is growing by leaps and bounds. The trade setup library
has information for all types of trades and is an excellent source for trade
entry ideas. I have always been treated as a part of your family and this
arrangement is unique to you organization. Chris has always promply replied
to my email. I feel I am paying my gardner more for his services than what I
am charged by you'll for such fabulous advice.
Your website has a wealth of
knowledge applicable to the investing world and a sincere student can only
achieve success.
You guys correctly called the low of the last market swing
on March 12. The S&P has rallied over 100 point since then. Congratulations!!!
I have no problem recommending investors to use your service. If they go to
another service they are doing themselves an injustice.
You guys run a real
professional first-class outfit. Keep up the good work.

Sincerely,
Suresh D. Gehi, CPA  03/23/03

Hi Chris!  Just wanted to thank you for your recent posting re "night owl" and using tick charts. Just a few minutes ago at 10:14 e I bought the sp at 857.75 and sold out for a  +  3.75  point profit using your chart 2 as an example. Normally I wouldn't try this trade in the context of a "Z-day" but when you taught me to see the total tick range( 1400 points in today's case) I saw that as a positive--so I tried it. Also just also sold the three pushes with a +1055 tick for a 2.5 tick scalp. Normally I would have gone for more but I'm thinking that since the FOMC meeting has a up-side bias--we might not see a full swing.  Anyway-- I really can't express how important your posting was to me !  Thank You !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dennis Reed  03/17/03

Hi Chris,  Want to thank you for the Great Night Owls!  I'm learning a lot from the completeness of your presentation.  Often I hear the same thing in the Futures Chat and it doesn't sink in.  Now with the charts included in the transcripts I can print them out, turn off the computer, and dig in.  Thanks for the extra effort,

Dave Klinger  03/17/03

Hi Chris,  I just wanted to let you know that I am getting quite a lot out of your Night Owl sessions.  What a great idea!  The notion of Joe Freakin' Lighting is sticking to me and my trading and is making a big difference in my trading.  I had already begun to make many of my trades as scalps---typically going for a 2-point profit objective in the S&Ps.  But, it gnawed at the back of my mind that I wasn't going after the larger play and was leaving to much on the table, even though my overall results were improving by scalping.  Your explanation of the JFL principle put into words what I was beginning to think about, but had doubts.  It took the pressure off trying to trade better than what the market was offering.  So now, unless it's an obvious trend day or a swinging Z-day, my first thought is, "Today is probably a JFL day, so trade accordingly until the market proves different."  What a difference!

Hi linda: I have just finished reviewing thursdays transcript,  the pre open
comments, the post open comments and then Your rap that began at 11 am (from
a question I asked) and ended at 4:40. This was pure gold, the best ever
real time class interpretation/translation of Taylor theory with your own
perspective. I believe your day tendency stuff is a real edge of yours that
once absorbed moves a trader up onto a higher floor of the knowlege.
When combined with enough experience this framework should allow us to take
off the training wheels, make quality entries "manage the trade". You should
have one of the gang clean it up and put it in new web site as taylor class.
Thanks so much, every member should study that transcript till thay can
score 100 on the test.

Linda:  I've been meaning to write this email for a while, so your birthday is an
appropriate trigger. Anyway, I've been a long time subscriber to your chat room and previously to your fax and did a seminar with you back a few years in January - I think -
the one at your house with 4 -5 other people.  Your seminar was a turning point and the first time I realized it was possible for me to be a full time professional trader.
I've been around trading for a long time and have purchased and/or attended many seminars and trading courses over the years.  Some were worthwhile, most not.  However, I have yet to meet anyone who is as accomplished in this business and has such a complete and USEFUL take on how markets work, while at the same time, as far as I can tell, remaining relatively agenda less.  Very refreshing, to say the least, in a less than ethical business that  seems to follow the rule - those that know don't talk and those that talk don't know.  Very cool the way you share yourself with, it seems, nothing held back.  A big fan.Barnett  (dunkin)  3/04/03.

Hi Linda, it is great pleasure for me, too, to communicate directly with you as really one from best world-known trader.
Between your way of life (either private or professional) and my life are sure many differences, but after study some from your articles I have found
out, that your perception and attitude to trading (and life as a whole) is very similar to me and very inspired for my concept of approach to trading.  Just right, between your and my experiences are only a two decades... anyway, thanks also your opinions will be my development faster and much more effective. Slovakia is relatively far from U.S. but Internet is marvelous thing... and permits to be active trader in relatively  huge physical distance. I wish you all your effort meets with success and many satisfied customers and partners, too.  Regards,
Viliam Latta  02/24/03.

Hi Linda and Chris,

Just wanted to thank Chris for a kick-ass trade setup last week in EBAY.  I don't usually trade equities but the analysis was so compelling...thought I'd give it a try.  Still in the trade and holding it for the target...up 4.5
points so far. Keep up the great work!

I have learned much from Linda from her writings, a half day class and look forward to more.
Thank you Linda for being interested in sharing your knowledge and experience!

Hello Linda,

Thanks a million for the INPUT and prompt reply regarding 2-Bar ROC. I did read all that I could on your website and in the daily transcripts, but there are always "cookie crumbs" in asking you directly ... Thank you.  I would like to say "congrads" on your professionalism, HONESTY and LOVE OF THE MARKETS/TRADING in your chat rooms and with your website. JUST THE KNOWLEDGE that you are sharing IS WORTH more than any money. No kidding! It is a FORM of mentorship, and those willing to do the work will and are rewarded. Your transcripts are EDUCATIONAL classes!  Yes. My tape reading skills in the past 2.5 weeks has DEVELOPED leaps! Like Chris Terry, I used to simply SCALP tons of shs a day in the same 2-4 stocks BASED ON tape reading skills, namely the last 3 prints/size of prints/ BxA/ step downs &ups, etc. Like you know, you can get pretty darn good at it. And, now in developing NEW approaches and ways of seeing the market - TAPE READING is taking on a NEW/BROADER meaning - WITH different inputs.  I stopped by the Echotrade office in Phoenix this afternoon and told a few of the traders about you and your company. I also chatted with an office manager (friend) in San Diego from another prop. firm about you and your service. I think many are going to follow up!

All the best and thank you,
Patrick Quigley  2/14/03

Dear Linda,

Thanks for the talk yesterday after the markets, I am new to this and trying very hard to learn to trade the right way. Yesterday was my worst day, and I have a tendency to beat my self up over it but I learned from you to be good to myself.  The last two bad days I have had you spent time after the markets it seems talking directly to me, and helping me bet back on track, and I want to thank you for that.  I have been around you chat room for a couple of years, always doing the free day at the beginning of the month, but I could never bring myself to put up the money to do it full time. I met Chris Terry in Chicano this fall, and shortly after that I made a decision to be the best trader I could be which would mean hanging around the best traders there are, so I joined and have been glad every day since.  Thank You for you help and mentoring

Sincerely

Gary Reynolds   1/19/03

Hi Linda,

I want to say thanks to you for your kind gesture of having me to your workshop. Sincerely, it was a dream come true and I really believe it has been my most important day in my short trading career. The workshop was excellent and there is no doubt why you are the best trader out there!! I enjoyed the presentation at the fullest and have already read the manual twice, I just can't stop repeating you how much I admire you. During the past two and a half years I've been following your work and I've always had my "mental world" (as you call it in the manual) of trading with your techniques and strategies, but I only followed it on paper and tried to understand it inside my mind, but I was too focused on my own strategy that was the one giving me some profits at the time, so I never ventured into trying something else. Nevertheless, now that I had the opportunity of attending your workshop I had understood much better some of the setups and I believe that I can really take advantage of these two years of compiling your literature through the chat transcripts, interviews and your book. I feel that now I can start applying all that theoretical knowledge that I've been absorbing into more practical (live) work. Unfortunately I had to pay for the flaws on my strategy with big losses (that's the name of the game), but now I feel really motivated into starting my transition towards how I"vet always wanted to trade. Now is clearer than ever to me how many flaws my strategy had, and although I've always knew that I couldn't trade that way forever due to a number of factors (no liquidity, wider stops etc), it took long before I completely understood it. Anyway, I made my living trading that way during this time and I did learn a lot. Now I can apply some of that experience into my future program. I know that is going to be a long slow way before I can start making consistent profits with some of your techniques while I get my eye trained to the new setups and my brain gets used to trade in a different manner and not always going against the trend :-( .   I am starting right away with my transition and I am sure I can emerge to be a great trader just as you are. Linda, I don't have enough words to express all my gratitude for all of what you have done for me and my career, and the day that I become a trader just like you it will always be thanks to you and your mentoring. I will send you the pictures during the week. Thanks for the dinner Saturday night, I had a great time. I don't really speak that much (kind of a shy person) and I was to emotioned that I forgot my english (jajaja).

Have a great trading week!!

Octavio   1/14/03

Dear Chris,  I wanted to take the time to write you a thank you note for all your support and help that you given me since I met you.  You are by far the most influential person in my young trading career. Without your help, I would not be where I am today!  I can remember when I first met you a few years back. I had no clue what technical analysis was.  I just was fascinated by the stock market.  We talked several times online and you didn't know me from some bum on the street.  You took the time then to teach me basic technical analysis and gave me some help on getting started and where to learn.  I specifically remember you telling me that I could apply technical analysis to any time frame.  Over the past few years, I continued to work my production job and swing trade on the side.  I have continued to learn from your teachings and have been consistently profitable on short term swing trades since.  From this money I've made and saved, I told you approximately 8 months ago I wanted to take on trading as a full time career.  From the time I told you that, I can't count the hours that we've spent on here talking about trade setups, market timing, proper entry, exits, stops, trading as a business, and having the right mental attitude.  I specifically remember many Friday and Saturday nights that instead of you going to bed, we would sit on here till 3am-4am in the morning talking about trading and what it took to be successful.  On October 11th 2002, I quit a good paying production management job and joined the Stock Beat Chat Room the following Monday.  I have never seen anyone with the ability that you have to call a stock move.  I have yet to start day trading because I wanted to learn a bit more about the different techniques involved, but plan to start January 2003.  From your calls made in the room, a person could simply follow you and never have to learn the first thing about trading other than how to work their trade platform.  You ability to read pure price action is simply amazing!  I am learning so much! Thank you for continuing to work with me and helping me reach my career goals that are unveiling right before eyes.  If I can ever return the many favors you've done for me, let me know!  Feel free to use me as a reference or testimony to your ability to make market calls!

Sincerely,
Brad Patterson

Linda,

Just wanted to thank you for yesterday's class.  Your comments on "having a bias" were right on the mark for me.  I've tried for a long time to do the exact opposite - treat each trade separately, and be willing to change direction many times during the day.
It was only during the class that I recognized my biggest frustration over the past several days - missing the best trade of the day because I was still managing my way out of a trade in the opposite direction that wasn't working as I expected.  Just looking at this week, my bottom line would be greatly improved by just "having a bias."
I want to reinforce what I'm sure you realize - you are an excellent teacher.  Having spent most of my non-trading life as a teacher of some sort (school, writing, private industry as a computer trainer), as well as spending a reasonable amount of time on some other trading websites, you stand out as someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge.
Believe me, it is appreciated.
Lowell   11/22/2002

Hi Linda,

What a wonderful class today, I really enjoyed it. I totally agree with you about the practice of printing out charts of the SP's. It helps you see some nuances that maybe you wouldn't see on the monitor screen. Plus you can't make notes on the monitor screen! It's so funny. As you were talking about trading with low leverage, I got a phone call from a brokerage firm here in California. They tell me I can open an account with $500 and trade with $500 margin for each E-mini contract. So I ask them if I have an account with 50k, could I trade 100 E-mini's? They said "yeah sure, no problem, there are no position limits, but anything over 50k you have to get approval from the clearing firm and they always say yes". That's insane! Also, I enjoyed your appearance on Wall Street Week, even though the moderator seemed to miss the whole point about technical analysis. The only thing he seemed to be interested in was the stock picks.  Thanks again for providing such helpful commentary in the chatroom. I am always able to learn at least one useful thing everyday.  Enjoy your time off (well deserved!) and have a Happy Thanksgiving:)

Linda--this is a bit delayed, so I apologize.  But I wanted to thank you for
hooking me up with Chris Terry.  Not only has he written a couple of
excellent articles for SFO magazine, but he did an outstanding job at our
early November conference as a presenter!  The man is very easy with people
and, frankly, he shows that he truly has a heart for traders that are
struggling to understand.  Many of the participants talked with him
throughout the conference, and he shared freely.  What a guy!  Thanks again,
Linda!

Dear Chris,

Just wantto let you know about our experience with The Beat.
We wantedto start Day trading because we thought it was the best way to manage ourcapital We searchedfor a chat room over the net and stumbled on Stocktrend wizard. We had no ideaof the complexity involved and really needed mentorship. After signing up yougave us a call, offered your help and have definitely followed through.  We weretrading on a laptop and you told us if we wanted to do this successfully weneeded to treat it as a business and get a proper system and reliable tradingplatform. We now use a 4-screen system that displays all the technical data wecould want.  We learnedTiming is everything!  Without knowingwhere to look or what to look for we were basically up a creek with out apaddle.   You andLinda described patterns and timing to tee. We have learned about Trends and,Countertrends, We now only enter a trade with a trigger, target and stop. Wealso trail stops when the trade moves in our favour. . We learned what it meansto manage a trade properly. We are now using NYSE TICK, TRIN and multipletimeframes. Initiallybeing in the chatroom was like living in a foreign country and not knowing thelanguage. Chris you have been our tour guide and translator. This roomreally encompasses a wide range of trading ideas as well as classes on aregular basis. Timing iseverything. When to have patience is everything else. And Persistence is thekey.  Manytraders have shared with us the big losses they incurred when theystarted.  Thank you Chris and Linda forteaching us how to stay on the right side of the market and keep the tuitionfor trading low.  Keep up thegood work and Thanks
Andrea andCaspar Flügge   11/18/02

Dear Chris,

I wanted to write you a short note to let you know how much I enjoyed meeting you at the recent SFO conference.  Your presentation was excellent and I was able to pick up a lot of good info to use in my trading.  In fact, a group of us got together and voted you the number 1 instructor. How do you like that!  Looking forward to trading with you soon.
Sincerely,
Sue---skigirl  11/18/02

In my opinion, I find Chris Terry's beat chatroom an excellent educational and trading resource. He employs rignificant risk reduction techniques - like when the trading vehicle takes off in one direction, rather than chase it and buy at the high, he recommends awaiting the first retracement and entering on a retracement pattern such as a break out of a bull or bear flag. He used appropriate stops on his orders, and he provides extraordinary service, far beyond the call of duty. Chris is a classic example of buying the salesman because of the service rendered, as well as buying the excellent product.  Harley Kaufman mdjdmdjd@aol.com  09/09/02

Hi Linda,  Thanks for the feedback.  Every little bit helps.  I've been using breadth as you do in my analysis and what a difference!  I feel almost psycic in being able to determine next day market direction.  Although nothing is ever 100% in the markets it sure helps boost ones commitment level towards trading positions.  Thanks again for your help Linda and I'll stay in touch.  Please let me know when you plan to do any seminars in the future and when your new site is up.  Cheers,

Michael Ugljesa   8/29/02

Hey Chris,
Nice calls today. it feels awesome to be looking at the market during the
day with all the right tools and finally learning how to use them.
I know it's going to take me some time for the tools to become second nature
to me as the market unfolds, but I couldn't sleep last night with so many
things going through my head.  Looking forward to being in the chatroom next month as a member.

Pete  8/28/02

Thanks Chris.  I forgot to mention how helpful the stock beat has been in
teaching me how to go about trading.  I've only been doing this for five
months and you guys have helped me alot.  My trading method is mostly based
on pullbacks in trend.  I am starting to try and scalp the spy though too.
I am thinking about trading from home eventually. Anyway I can't wait for the new website to be finished.
Am looking forward to it. Thanks for all your help

chris   8/27/02

hey linda-
AWESOME class after the close.  i'm really impressed with your ability to
take such 'fuzzy' concepts and crystallize them in a format people can
(fairly) easily understand.  as i've said before, it's a real privilege to
be able to learn from someone who has really mastered the craft so well.

Adam Grimes    8/26/02

Linda
I am continuing to make the swing charts by hand.

Thanks for all the things you taught me. In addition to actual
techniques, the "rituals", "positive thinking", "write things down by
hand"-  , "business plan"., "write down goals" - all these I have down
VERY RELIGIOUSLY after coming from Orlando. This is invaluable.

Thanks, Linda, for the huge effort you put into teaching and
feeding (especially the boccacinni) us last weekend.
Your systematic, top-down approach is just what I need.
And a reality push.

Q. What was it that you said you put with your porridge?

THANKS, THANKS, THANKS, I'M VERY HAPPY AND MOTIVATED.

I really enjoyed your workshop-you are a gifted speaker. For someone who has been in the business as long as you, your dedication to make a difference for other traders is quite admirable. I always felt as a floor trader for so many years that I was making money and supporting my family but what am I giving back to the world in my profession? Good luck to you Linda and thanks again for your support.

Hi Linda:
I just wanted to say that I thought you did an excellent job catching that last trade today. Also thanks for the explanation of the Coffee Trade. What I notice is that no matter what type of market you are trading, you are always looking to buy or sell a test of either a recent swing or an important high or low. Also I notice that you wait until you see support and you try to have additional confirmation (divergences in this case). Just adding these rules to my trading has already made a great difference in my daily P/L. Hope you have some pleasant weather to enjoy over the weekend.

I attended to LBR's seminar at last year's NYC Online Expo.  Great seminar!

Hi Chris,
Some great calls this week! This afternoon was crazy... I was basically even on the day and when Linda called that last short on the futures, I decided that I couldn't go home having made 0 so I sold a bunch of SPY & WFC..sweet! I didn't get any of the Nasdaq calls though cause I didn't
want to be short everything all at once. I have finally pushed through the invisible $ barrier I was stuck at, slowly but surely. I also upped my size on several trades this week although most of them ended up being small net winners or scratches....but I am feeling better about putting on a more size which is the important thing. Anyways, have a good weekend!
Daryn 08/23/02

Hey Chris,
No problem, whenever we get the chance we will get together. I am learning to wait for primo set-ups from you guys, I was taking too many mediocre trades. I am also learning how to use multiple time frames much better. Thanks a lot! Linda made some great points yesterday about realistic expectations and how the life of a trader is not just big profits every month but 2 -4 months of
good trading and chicken scratching around the rest of the time. I feel it is something most traders don't comprehend. I keep great quotes like that in a binder I have, so I can keep learning how to be a professional.Talk to you soon,
Pete 08/23/02

Hi Linda,
Thanks for the address!
It's nice to see that my homework made sense: I joined Chuck's site a while ago and I also have his book. Both are definitely interesting. But my very best learning experience in trading so far has been joining your room earlier this year! This has been very valuable, both in knowledge and in dollars. I'm now getting close to obtaining the confidence I need to trade for a living.
Best regards,
Willy (Oslo, Norway) 08/13/02

Thank you again Linda for your time an knowledge and thanks for getting back as time permits.

Linda,
Thank you so much for writing back! It means a great deal to me that you would take time out of your busy schedule. Sometimes I begin to doubt that it is possible but it helps to hear it from someone who has done it because there is a lot of negativity out there you have to avoid. I know my dream will come true, no matter how many times I have to keep trying.
Thanks for your website and everything you offer to help traders out,
David 08/08/02

Thanks for everything!
All the great chart examples and the daily trade sheet have been instrumental in improving my trading. I can only hope something similar will be available at the new site.

Good morning,
Just wanted to thank you for taking some time for us yesterday! It was wonderful to meet you after two years of following all your work and learning so much from it, if it wasn't for you (and Chris too) I'm sure I would not have survived in the business. Although you already know I have my little strategy that has been working I always follow all the setups you call on the chatroom and my goal is to someday apply all those strategies to my trading as good as you do it…. Anyway, it was a pleasure to meet you, let me tell you that you have a beautiful house and lovely horses!!
Octavio Tovar 07/11/02

WOW! Thanks Linda. It's a great feeling to finally see it and you give me an A+, what a great feeling!!! True test is to see the next one LOL
I want to thank-you again Linda for all you have taught me, you are the best!
I hope all is going well for you.
Sincerely,
Jackie 07/10/02

Dear Linda, how the heck are you? Must tell you that I’m doing GREAT!
Upgraded my membership in the LBR fan club last week to include the chat room, and had a ball listening in. Very valuable stuff, which helped me greatly on more than one occasion. Thanks a ton for making it, and yourself, available.
Additionally, this was my very first week of “going live” with the S&Ps, and I was very happy (and relieved!!) to have come away profitable! There are of course things I could have done better, but that’s what THIS week is for, right?! Please keep your fingers crossed for me!
Anyway Linda, thanks in advance for the time, and as I said, VERY happy to be on board. Thanks as well for helping the rest of us learn these fantastic skills!! Really do owe you!
All the best to you… MH 07/07/02

Linda,
Thank you again for such an outstanding seminar this weekend. I thought everything was very well done and I cant wait to start looking at many of these new (to me) setups and indicators.
Thanks,
Darrell J. 06/17/02

Hi Linda,
Just a brief note to tell you that I have learnt a lot from your online classroom in the last month or so since I joined up. Before this, I was a modest trader with a quant education and I have
gained immensely from your ideas and training. I do not know how to thank you appropriately since I am not good in expressing myself, but I do hope that I have succeeded in conveying my
appreciation. I am traveling from Singapore to attend your seminar next week. My wife is also accompanying me, she hears me talk about you and she is keen to drop in and say hi after one of the sessions. warm regards

Hi Linda, I have been working on learning to trade for just over three years ( just a baby). But, things really started snapping into place once I saw you call trades - that mentorship is "crucial" in my opinion. {Last summer I was trying to day-trade equity options on a 2-1/2 point daily trading range (NVDA, QCOM, BRCM). Crank in commisions, a delta of .5 (I was trading "at the money") and some slippage - there's not too much left.}
Anyway, I hope that one day there is opportunity for me to have a closer working relationship with you and your staff - you have a great product, excellent presentation and a quality group of folks working with you.
Regards,
Ron P 06/03/02

Linda,
I just wanted to say thanks for all of the time and effort that you are putting into the chat room and web site. I love the format. It's as if I was setting right beside you each day learning in real time. It really does speed up the learning process. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. Especially, the concept of doing my homework each night by hand is really starting to make a difference. I'm looking forward to using your new site. Thanks again.

Hi Linda,
Let me start by thanking you for your presentation on Saturday. The information that you presented to us was the most useful that I walked away from the conference with.
You mentioned that you had a number of studies and notes on the Tick indicator work you have done that you would make available to those that e-mailed you. I would love to get my hands on this.
Thanks

AshtonMont> I got that last trade at 83.25 short limit..covered at the lows
figured I would get in before you did..hehehe
3 wins no losses today which is very consistent for me
again you have changed my trading around thank you Linda

Just a quick note. Want to thank you for the great bond trade last week. Superb. Trading is finally to come around after years of frustration and losses. I could get to like this. I've been doing those great little scalps you mentioned with the 5 period sma as a entry signal and they are great.
As always, thanks for all the great information and hard work.
Rod M 05/19/02

Dear Linda,
I'm writing to say THANK YOU --for having your chatsite on the web, for sending me a transcript when I first joined (I was so impressed that you personally sent it plus a note to me), and for your excellent staff--Laura spent a lot of time on the phone with me (I'm in Australia) and sent many emails helping with my disconnect problems. As of yesterday all systems are working perfectly.
I am most impressed at how hard you work and your great spirit of openness and generosity.
For nearly 3 years I unsuccessfully fumbled around, part time, trying to turn a profit in commodities. Now that I've joined your excellent nightly (in Australia) training seminars, i.e. chatsite, my results are improving and I once again enjoy renewed hope that I am on the path to becoming a consistently profitable trader.
So, once again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Lee Lynn "ROO" 05/15/02

Dear Linda. Thank you. Class today was super helpful. I got low tick both yesterday and today :)
Thanks for being so responsive to my request.
I appreciate the other traders’ professionalism in the room. I've been trading about 1 1/2 years. Had a great start til decimalization. Since then its been death by 1000 small cuts. But I feel like I'm on the verge of turning the "corner" to consistent profits with all I'm learning at your room. Wish I signed up earlier.
Million thanks. Kimo 05/02

Hi Linda,
First I want to say how much I've enjoyed your trading room. I wish I had joined you two years ago - but I wasn't ready to listen.
These sessions over the last month have been the best - I especially appreciate your "honest moments"; like when you had visitors drop in about a month ago, they were a distraction and you admitted "over looking" an entry point. If you hadn't said anything, I would have thought you were just being conservative on the trade LOL!!
Many thanks!

Excellent - excellent - excellent class Thanks!

Linda -- absolutely excellent class ... making me think alot here about some good changes in my trading and expectations. Thank you! 04/24/02

Hi Linda,
I just wanted to let you know that I have immensely enjoyed the experience of your room and seminar. Yes, it has felt like drinking from a firehouse at times! I've got a list of ideas and projects to explore based on your teachings that will last for years. At the same time you always return to
the key topics involved in trading, such as keeping things simple, so the learning has been like an ever growing spiral, if that makes sense. Watching you trade has also been very enlightening and helpful to my own trading.
Your team is very professional, and I can tell you all have fun together. I particularly appreciate the work of Phantom and James. Also, thanks for the comments regarding combining system and discretionary trading. Due to concepts of volatility expansion and contraction you have
taught, my stock breakout system has done well.
Best Wishes,
Bill Capolongo 04/19/02

Hi Linda! Just wanted to say thanx for the awesome trades you have been putting in the room.
Last week, I turned the burning dog trade into a 12 point winner. Caught the same trade today and held for 7 points! Thank-you again for all your help in keeping me in these trades!
PJ 04/15/02

Linda,
Of course I'm sure you're getting Birthday wishes from many of your chat members. I would like to do that, but also I would like to thank you for one of the best classes you've ever given.
( Since the beginning of the chat room, yes I was there! )
The newer people would not know, but I certainly noticed. ( Did you plan it this way for your birthday? ) In any case, I would like to thank you for your gift to us on your birthday...
JT 04/04/02

Linda:
I've been meaning to write this email for a while, so your birthday is an appropriate trigger. And BTW, I don't believe your 29 - you don't look a day over 25 :-). Anyway, I've been a long time subscriber to your chat room and previously to your fax and did a seminar with you back a few years in January - I think - the one at your house with 4 -5 other people. BTW, you talk about tennis from time to time - are you just a fan or do you play? My reason for asking is that I played tournament (qualifier) tennis after college for a while and still play competitively. If you play, there
are a couple of books - one that relates to trading as much as to tennis - that I would like to turn you on to. Let me know. A big fan.

Hi Linda,I just wanted to say thanks. There are many things that you talk about in your book, free articles and in the chat room that have been very beneficial. I am a new member starting March 1st. However, I was aware of your work and your success long before now going back to New Market Wizards and Street Smarts. I have been checking out the charts that you post for probably a year or more. A few weeks ago I read your free articles. It seems as if I was constantly nodding my head for a number of reasons. You seem to have an ability to communicate your ideas better than may other traders/authors. You also do a fabulous job when it comes to covering all of the aspects of being a winning trader by going over the emotional and psychological aspects and not just the method. You also brought out how some traders may only trade one market and one pattern. They find a niche, and they master what they do. That was so helpful. I have really focused in on the S&P 500. This has made things much clearer. Also, the buy day, sale day, short sale day concept has been a big help as well. I recently purchased the book on the Taylor Trading Technique. Also, your ability to pick to distinguish or pick up on subtle nuances is amazing. Clues that indicate that a trend day may occur. Tendencies following an NR7 day. You seem to have a better feel for how the market may play out over the coming days or on a given day. I am eating this stuff up. I have been making many notes in my trading journal. I also like the format of the chat room where your narration is separate from the members chat room. Your insights and education throughout the day is awesome. The amount of education that you provide each day is far more than any of the other rooms that I have seen. Thank you so much for putting the amount and quality of education that you do in your chat room. I know that it has to take much energy, and it has to distract some from you own trading. Other rooms will throw you a bone every now and then. Nothing compared to what you do. I want to know what your thinking? What prompted you to put on a trade? Other sites provide list of stocks to watch which is great; however, most stop there. They seem to be weak when it comes to the intraday market dynamics which is key in weeding out the marginal trades. I am really addicted to the market. It is refreshing to read your work because your passion for what you do really comes across. I get tired of people telling me to stop working so hard. Below I listed just a few of the things that I have learned and that have helped over the last month. I am grateful for all of your insights and help.
·You communicate your ideas very well. Quality and quantity of education throughout the day and during classes.
·Finding a niche. Becoming intimate with a market or strategy as opposed to trying to find and trade every opportunity in the market. Doing the numbers by hand.
·Anticipating trend days.
·Planning for buy days, sale days, short sale days.
·The books that you recommend have been helpful such as the ones by Taylor, Michael Jenkins and Linda Bradford Raschke.
·Limiting risk by trading shorter frames. Looking for higher probability setups on shorter time frames. This helps my emotions and consistency. Before reading your book, I had always read that probabilities were higher the longer the time frame (long term buy and hold) and that trading was purely random on shorter time frames. Your work totally changed my thinking. I like the concept of trying to take a small amount of money out of the market on a consistent basis, as opposed to, trying to win the lottery. Your style fits my personality much better.
·You seem to have a high level of confidence without the arrogant ego. You don't advocate that your style is the only way to trade. It helps that you point out that each individual needs to find what works for them.
·All of the patterns that you point out that suggest what the market might do in the next few minutes (I.E. action of Euro dollars on Fed day) or the next morning (negative divergence in the Ticks and breadth versus market price action). Obviously, you have pointed out much more than these two items. I just used those two as an example.
·I like your format for the chat room. It is as close as I can get to working for you. In other words, the way you go through your thought process. All of the things that you point out through out the day. It speeds up the learning process.
Thanks again. Have a great weekend.
Kent Riley 03/29/02

Hi Linda,
Room was awesome this quarter and sounds like lots more good tools on the way with the web site and all! I had a good quarter as well with March just being great – best month ever. Thanks to you and the team for such a great job.
Biggest difference for me was getting the darn trade on. Found that by putting it on – even early – I didn’t end up having to chase the market and was more focused on whether the trade was meeting expectations. Almost always was able to scratch if it didn’t pan out fully.
I liked the coverage of the other markets and hope at some point you provide some tips on the bonds as we are getting Project A in the office in the next month or so.
Best,
Mark 02/29/02

Your analysis is outstanding and I am thankful/appreciative to have access to the site. B.Callanan 03/27/02

Linda,
I was thinking about your last note and relating it to my own experiences.
The magic dollar? Not the one you're probably thinking of, but it was a
phrase that I coined to explain to people why I was so willing to give
away everything that I knew. The reason was that for every dollar's
worth of information that I gave away, I always got a nickel in return
And the reason I got to be such a rich person (in knowledge) is that I was
always giving away the same dollar, but was getting back a new nickel each time.

Your chat room and speaking engagements serve as the magic dollar for
you. When you trade in front of an audience in makes you justify your
trades. You can't be breaking your rules/trading plan or your audience
will quickly throw the BS flag. Having a group of assistants to provide
fresh eyes and a different perspective is also a great idea (haven't
seen that one before).

But you're so right in that many people find out that it is easier to
"talk the talk" than it is to "walk the walk" The first trading seminar
I went to ; I thought the speaker knew everything!!! The huge crack
came when I went to help him out on some
computer/multi-media stuff. I went to his house down in Cardiff
(California beach town down by San Diego). He had just got back from
some speaking engagements in Europe. And during our conversations I was
able to determine that he hadn't made a single trade in the last two
months!!!! If you're not trading, you're not a trader!
Gotta go log in to your chat room for the day....
Stephan 03.27.02

Linda,
Have enjoyed the room (i.e., learning more, making more $) recently more than
ever. Of course, trading has been good with the recent expansion in
volatility but the instruction has been just awesome. Feel like its all
coming together, especially the use of multiple timeframes to create the
short-term / long-term story. Keep up the great work please!
Mark G. 03/08/02

Linda,
I have some more questions but first I want to thank you and tell you what a great job your doing for those of us wanting to learn to trade for a living. I have learned a tremendous amount over the past few weeks and am excited about learning more. I met my goals for the week, thanks in part to you, which was something to be thankful for.
I want to say thanks again for all your help. I can't wait til Monday morning.
Grant 03/23/02

Linda, your SP levels are impeccable, anybody who cannot make money trading the emini off your levels will never do so. Thank you for the all help 03/21/02

Hi Linda,
Although I'm not yet up to speed, I find the chatroom most educational and
enjoyable. I'm having to re-familiarize myself with some indicators and learn
new ones as I use none in my p&f charting. As you know, pnf is pretty much a
stand-alone methodology that relies mostly on support/resistance, tweezers
and pattern recognition.
You are a most impressive trader.
Best wishes,
Joe K (nickname - jonathan) 03/08/02

Your one day session helped me alot. Thank you for a great S&P day!
Raynald M. 03/02/02

I am a professional trader and find Linda Raschke's insights enormously insightful. She is right on the money with her perception of the markets. I first read her in the New Market Wizard's and found out that a very good friend of mine is her friend. Her website has made my attitude and trading exponentially better! Keep up the incredible work!
Chris P. 01/17/02

Linda,
Thanks for the great day. I overtraded last week doing stop and reverse
type trades and consequently did not do well. My confidence has been shaken so
I promised only to take your trades until even.
Thank you for the way you setup trades and monitor them throughout the
day.
Russ D. 01/14/02

Hello Linda, James, & Phantom!

Hope you all are enjoying the new year! Thank you for sending the pistachios. I have really enjoyed them. They are very good!

Also, I want to thank you all for your continued excellent work in helping me and others in our efforts to become better traders. It would take several pages if I had to list all the specific items that I have incorporated into my business plan that are based on your research, strategies, methodologies, etc. When I visited your office last June for the weekend seminar, I had just implemented a new fitness program with a personal trainer in an effort to achieve my best fitness level. This one item alone has helped me tremendously with my ability to stay focused on the process each trading day. It has become a part of my daily ritual that I have been constantly attempting to refine.

I know that it is too late with the study on market breadth, but I do want to tell you that before you discussed that last week, I did not even have market breadth programmed to appear on my computer. I also did not have the premium charted on my screen. However, since I felt urged to stretch a bit beyond what I have been comfortable with, I actually wrote my first color rule in Aspen and I am looking forward to doing more types of research as I continue to learn. Anyway, I attempted to do the same study that you mentioned. I figured that if I came up with the same results, this would confirm to me that I had programmed the color rule correctly.

Thanks again for all of your help and I hope you all have a great success in reaching your goals in 2002!

Sincerely,
John R. Bonner 01/10/02

Good afternoon Linda. I hope that you are well.
I want to share with you my experience working with you. I have
been involved in this business for about 8-years. During that time span I
have encountered many different trading styles, personalities and people. I
have learned so much from you. You are the sharpest technician I have
encountered. I am impressed with the way that you read the markets. And
even more so with staying on top of so many different markets, both stocks
and futures. You have an approach to the markets like no other that I have
come across and you have the personal consistency to stay with it. A
phenomenal combination. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to work
with one of the greatest. Thank you very much for that experience.
I wish you and LBR Group a tremendous, and prosperous 2002!
Best Regards,
John Isaacson 12/31/01

Hello Linda,
I want to take this opportunity to tell you how wonderful I think you
are to present he Daily Motivation and your wonderful charts to us. The
first thing I do each morning is to look at your web site for direction
and inspiration.
God bless you and thank you very much for being the wonderful person
that you are. If you are ever in the San Francisco area or in the wine
country to the north of SF, please let us know how we can make your
visit special.
Joseph W. M.D. 12/21/01

Linda:
With several days of observation, you have caused me to throw out the bath
water, but keep the baby. Would have been shorting the heck out of this
market the last several days. Since September 17th, have had 23
successful trades and 1 loss.
You've provided me two things over the last few days; saving me a lot of
money not entering the short side on this trend move and making me money following your trade recommendations. It was also done with a lot
less stress, but some anxiousness.
Looking forward to tomorrow.
Art M 12/06/01

Best class yet, best charts, commentary and examples, perfect time for us to
lock in the framework, cutting away chaf. I was revising chart set ups and
workspaces to capture concept. Doug L. 11/13/01

Dear Linda,
THANK YOU SOO much for the note a couple of days ago I just got. I know
that you are busy and to take the time to write such an inspiring note does
mean a great deal. I feel and believe that I am on my way now down the right
track. Anyway, Thanks.LaDonna (Panther) 11/09/01

Thank you so much Linda for sharing your hard work and insight into the markets. They have been invaluable in my progress as a trader.
J Marsh 11/01/01

Linda,
Many thanks for the follow up tonight. I really appreciate being able to ask you or Chris. I study your intraday commentary a lot...especially on days like today. It never fails to amaze me how intuitive you are. Every now and then I sit back with a smile and ask myself...how the heck did she know that! Coincidentally that was a VERY good call on the SOX this a.m. also. I learn a little more from you both each day. I'm still not sure yet how to look for the sell/buy divergences you talk of but given time I'm sure I will. Thanks again for giving traders like myself the opportunity to learn from you. I have learned more from reading your daily chat than all the books and seminars combined. I will look forward to tomorrow with anticipation!
Graeme 10/29/01

Chris,
I attended your session at the Chicago seminar a few weeks ago and was totally impressed with you. I was hanging on every word. You were literally one of three speakers I heard the whole conference that made an honest attempt to actually teach the attendees how you trade. I use the word "attempt" because you were under unfair time constraints. You even "argued" with the time keeper for 10-15 minutes more because we started late. I was clapping, begging for more. I could tell catogorically that you are the real thing.
Thank you for taking the time to speak at the conference. You were one of the best if not the best.
Glyn H. Ramsey, Austin TX 10/24/01

hi linda...judd here....is everyone at lunch? I would like to say that the seminar was excellent and would be happy to be a reference for any prospective customers wishing to take it...
[16:07] Hi! Thank-you for your comment!
[16:07] That is thoughtful of you to say that!
[16:07] We had fun!
[16:08] If you want to e-mail me something, maybe one of these days I will get around to building a website and put a testimonial or two on it! 10/18/01

Hi,
My name is Richard, I am a trader with Generic Trading in Boca Raton. My
username is Boca04.
I wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I value your market comments
on the chat site. They go very much in hand with the "mind frame" I
developed or was exposed to when I clerked for another Market Wizard.
Thank You,
Richard 10/15/012

Linda,
I wanted to quickly thank you and the rest of your staff for giving an excellent seminar over the weekend. Your guest speakers were great also.
I have been trading on and off for seven years and will return to full time trading around Dec. 21st of this year, which is after I finish the last portion of a technology consulting contract I am involved in. Many of the things you spoke about over the weekend certainly fill in some of the holes I had in my trading plan and gave me a few new ideas. Now my only problem is keeping focused enough on the consulting since trading is what I would rather be doing!
Thanks,
Brian Seay 10/11/01

Hi Linda
I thought your chat session today was one of the best ever! You rocked..not just in trading but in education! I don't know how you managed to pull off so many trades while still commenting on the unfolding action. I took a lot of notes which may be useful if you decide to do a new book. Nelson
P.S. Forgot to mention: I really liked Brett's discussion on the chat page several weeks ago. His distinction between a career and a calling was memorable. I need to meet Brett! 10/10/01

Thank you for your reply, it is very helpful.
I enjoy and get a lot from your chat site. You clearly enjoy teaching - and
I appreciate the opportunity to learn from someone who is clearly knows
their craft well!
Robin Slotboom 10/02/01

Thanks Linda!
If anything, I am too sensitive to losses but I think this
comes from trading marginal setups. Last two months were
finally profitable for me using your trading book &
commentary.
These profits were small but I am very proud of them as I
correlate them directly to what I have learned from you
Also, I appreciate the spiritual msgs and psychological
discussion (I'm bound to be successful doing this as I fit
the profile so well!). Somehow, it has lots of meaning to
me at this point in my life and strangely connected to
trading.
Scott R 10/02/01

linda,
found your work shop very helpful in putting my trading back on track.
thank you,
louis bickford 09/29/01

Dear Linda,
Everyone I met at the San Francisco seminar said the same thing, that they had been to many seminars like myself, searching for better information on trading, and this was what we had all been looking for. Not only was the quality of the information outstanding but your gift for teaching made it easy to comprehend. I am amazed at the volume of information you so graciously shared, both verbally and in the notebook. I also appreciate very much the material Brett and Doug contributed. I consider the information presented as invaluable. Thank you so much for the sacrifices you made to present this seminar. Sincerely, Dan Haines 09/27/01
Linda,
Your S.F. seminar the best I've ever been to. "Street Smarts" galore but also
passion and erudition. Thank you for your help! Again, really inspired by your presentation.
Regards,

hi linda,
thanks once again for the great workshop. the content was straight from the
top drawer, it was well organized, and brett and doug really added some
important perspective, insight, and humour. Louis m 09/24/01
Linda and Team LBR!
Thank you again for the great workshop. As usual my head is stuffed to
throbbing for a few days. Your trading lessons have kept me in the part-time
trading game for the last few years -- and now I'm anxious to get started on
a more dedicated game plan.
Thank you again,

Linda,
Sorry for the first email, hit enter key by mistake before I had
written any text. Just wanted to tell you that I thought last nights' class
was the best by far. At least for me, helped to clarify a very basic thought
process which is essential to an approach to daily trading. I say basic only
in the fact that it is essential, the daily approach, as clarified in your
class is in fact very profound. Thanks again! 08/24/01
Thank you very much, Linda.
Since I had to leave before the end on that Sunday afternoon of the workshop, I
just wanted to tell you again how great that week end was. I'm already seeing
so much more than I did before.
Have a great week end. I'll be watching closely in June.
Very Best Regards,
Leon Hopkins 06/01/01

Dear Linda
Thank you so much. You have changed my life as a trader. I had been following a longer term trending system that I had developed that was very successful but allowed me zero quality of life. I am 57 and had always looked forward to an active retirement consisting of trading for myself and playing with my grandchildren. In reality I was glued to that damn screen for 10 hours a day and could never take a day off in case that day was THE trend day and of course it always seemed like it was.
I made 4 trades in the first hour this morning, gained 8 points on 3 trades and lost 3/4 point on 1 so am taking the rest of the day off.
Taking your course was the most important event in my 4 year trading journey. I look forward to being with you on the chat room.
Warm regards
Betty Mann 05/30/01

This AM:
dogs didnt bark, 2 SP +3
Mini Power trade: Turkey Shoot 1 minute /Grail buy 5 minute, 2 SP +3
Paid for the seminar and (ridiculous) parking first 2 trades back.
Plus, there was FOOD!
Was like a weekend in the Bahamas!
Mike Saul 05/21/01

Linda-
Just a note to tell you that you rock! A great seminar with a ton of useful
practical information. When I have talked in the past about the short skirt
with people whether they were showing me how its done or I was showing them,
I used the SAME exact lines as you did as far as the 3:1 risk reward on
trades being in books and not in the real trading world. For you to confirm
what I THOUGHT I already knew just makes me happy that this is my main game
for making money. Its a HUGE dose of confidence that I am doing the right
thing.
Anyway, I went home and set up my charts last night til 2AM (I am slow) so I
am ready!
Have a profitable trading week.

Linda,
Thanks for taking the time chat with me today via Stacy (aka xStacy). I have always been impressed by your graciousness in taking time to talk to everybody from the rookies to the vets. That rookie was me in 1997 and I was floored that the famous LBR took time to talk to me.

A ton of time has gone by since "Trading My Way" seminar in Chicago and I have never thanked you. I think I chatted with you maybe once or twice before you moved from NJ to Florida. The time has flown by.

My ex and I, since your course, pulled millions of dollars out of the market using what we learned from you. NR7, IDNR4, Holy Grails, Anti's were our main tools. It was not overnight success but lots and lots of work. No free lunch. Scanning 800 charts a night, looking at 200 closely, trading 5-10.

What can I say? We took what you gave us and went to town. I just don't even have a clue what to say or how to thank you. Do you need a shrine in Austin? LOL

I have had some wonderful experiences, met lots of neat people. I have had more fun than I can talk about. The market is about people and people are never boring. I get paid to have fun. What could be better?

I picked up Stacy as an employee/partner last June. He will be hanging out in your chat room. He is a newer trader, I think he is very good, he had a ton of trading experience when he started with me. I have spent a ton of time working with him and trying teaching him real trading a la lbr. Trading methods that will work in any market. More important than indicators and such is teaching him (and me I have lots to learn too) how to think trading, to be more intuitive, to be more flexible in dealing with the market. (Oh yeah and laugh about those trades from hell that will all occasionally create for ourselves.) That is something I always thought you were a good example of.

Stacy's favorite tools are the anti, ROC and the 20 ema. He is trading stocks and just started trading some futures. Both of us have the goal to get away from daytrading so intensely and moving to swing trading. I know he has already made 1000s and 1000s of $ on his 15 min anti trades. He will be hanging on your every word for sure. (And hopefully not forgetting to see his ticker.)

If want to yell at me from the chat room just tell xStacy and he will pass it on. He is only about 5 ft away keeps the "trade the trend" 2X4 at his seat to get my attention with. He may even have a large fresh trout under his desk too.
Many thanks,
Ed Naylor

Hi Linda,
This is Carlos Menendez from Pembroke Pines, Fl. I hope everything is well
and your new year is going great. I just wanted to drop you a little note
and say thanks. I can't explain how my trading has changed. I am cranking. I
am doing better than I have ever done. The biggest difference has been doing
less not doing more. I have lowered my risk. I took 2 weeks off for
Christmas. This is something that in 5 years of trading I have never done.
What a relief. I take about 1/4 of the trades that I previously took. I stop
trading mid day sometimes. I have become a believer in the saying "When you
know when enough is enough, you will always have enough". So, thanks. I
can't explain how good it feels to be able to slow down. I am so grateful
for your insight. I always knew that there was more to this than little
squiggly lines. I know that this year is going to be the best year yet. It
has started of with a bang.
Thank you,
Carlos Menendez 01/08/01

Linda, What a great writeup.
When Carlin offered the Stock Beat, I tuned in and immediately saw your and Chris's systems as ones I could embrace and use to generate profits. Street Smarts has been a great resource and after just a couple months on this new jag (been actively trading as near-full-time vocation for couple years) I'm profitable and gaining consistency.
Your BP Outline goes in the front of my trading notebook where I can use it as a guide to improving my BP on a regular basis. Thanks again.

Dear Linda,
Bless you for taking the time to answer me and especially to be truthful,
making a heartfelt attempt to help. You are right on all counts. It isn't
rude to answer honestly and simply, especially when someone asks for it,
which I did. It didn't hurt one bit to read your cogent analysis (I'd say
you're pretty good at it.) And I am ready to close out that phase of my
life. I've learned a lot about how to recognize feelings as they come up and
recognize unconscious behavior and expression, both in myself and in others.
This is valuable. And it's been expensive in time and money. Your spirit is
just great. I love it. I have that as a strong part of myself. Thanks so
much for reminding me and calling that to leadership in my life. When I'm
winning, I won't have to whine about the past. Thank you so much. I will
follow the plan and email you on the weekend. You have earned
my total respect. This is so great to know a successful woman. Wonderful. I
will report on Friday afternoon. Thank you ever so much, Kate L 12/05/00

Hi Linda, I just got done reading the transcript of the after market class yesterday and am sitting here about in shock about the news. I just want you to know that we support you all the way. I have never met a more honest and caring person in this business than yourself and i have met a lot of people over the years. Just make us all a promise that you will practice what you preach and take care of yourself as well. Your thoughts and words in the class are the best advice i have ever read so be sure to follow it yourself, sometimes that is the hardest part! Here is a big bear hug.xxxxx Take care. See ya in the room.
Sincerely, D.D. 10/31/00

Linda,
I am writing to thank you for your last class, I find it inspiring
that someone such as yourself would have the courage to share a part of your
personal life to your class, which is such a public forum, in an effort to
give more of yourself to help us.
Thank you again. JT 10/30/00

Dear Linda,
Hang in there, you're doing a great service for traders. I've been a member
for a couple of weeks and have learned so much from you (and
have made some $)! Since you've been teaching so many people while going
through your personal trauma, you are a champion in my eyes.
Sincerely,
"Janie"
